The following entry is part of the Arkfall Field Archive — a record documenting the events that reshaped the world after the arrival of the Arks.

Of all the anomalies observed within the Arkfall familiar Glimmerkit, none has drawn more scientific curiosity than the shape of the Arkfall core itself.

The core is not spherical.

It is not crystalline.

It is not mechanical.

Instead, the stabilized Arkfall energy within Glimmerkit condensed into a precise five-point stellar geometry — a star-shaped structure that pulses with steady radiance at the center of her chest.

This is unusual.

Nearly every recorded Arkfall crystal formation naturally stabilizes into angular lattice structures, typically hexagonal or irregular crystalline forms. Ark Tech power cores follow similarly rigid geometries designed for energy containment and mechanical stability.

Glimmerkit’s core does neither.

It formed as a symbolic shape.

The explanation appears to lie in the moment of her creation.

Arkfall energy is normally chaotic — unstable, reactive, and difficult to control. However, during Glimmerkit’s formation inside the Arkfall crater described in Log 03, the energy did not disperse. Instead, it condensed around fragments of damaged Ark Tech embedded within the impact site.

This created a temporary stabilization field.

Within that field, the Arkfall energy began searching for equilibrium.

And something else happened.

Energy signatures captured by Callie’s suit sensors show that during this exact moment, the operator approached the anomaly and remained within close proximity while the energy condensed.

This proximity appears to have influenced the final geometry of the Arkfall core.

Researchers have since named this process Imprint Crystallization.

Imprint Crystallization occurs when unstable Arkfall energy stabilizes around a nearby cognitive presence. The energy does not simply solidify into a natural crystal pattern. The Arkfall core within Glimmerkit continues to maintain this star-shaped configuration across all observed energy states. Even during intense Bloom events described in earlier logs, the core expands and brightens but retains its five-point stellar symmetry.

In practical terms, the shape likely contributes to energy regulation by distributing Arkfall radiation evenly across multiple resonance points.

In less technical terms, however, the explanation may be far simpler.

When a small cosmic creature formed from Arkfall energy looked around for something stable in a chaotic new universe…
